Last week the Year 2/3 Sea Turtles put on their Chef aprons to create a variety of recipes in FGPS Stephanie Alexander Kitchen. The Kitchen and garden work hand in hand, when it comes to the SAK program. Under the guidance of Ms Maria and Mr Rod, students learn an abundance of life skills, being creative in the kitchen.

Some students took to kneading dough for flat bread and whipping up cheese and freshly picked chives for the accompanying dip. Whilst other students carefully measured out raspberries and blueberries, and other staple ingredients for deliciously tasty loaf cake.

As you can see from the photo’s below, how much our students enjoy cooking, having a valuable creative hands-on experience in the kitchen classroom.
