Mr Beaufoy’s year 4/5 Raptors were very resourceful in last week’s cooking class. Learning to harvest fresh veggies and herbs from the FGPS garden, adding left over ingredients from the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen fridge, and combining it all with freshly laid eggs from our resident chickens. Students learnt to make a variety of omelet’s, frittata’s, flat bread and tossed salad. Setting the table and coming together as a class, sharing a meal and looking back at the year they have enjoyed and looking forward to the many things still to come.
