The Joeys have had a fantastic start to school in Term 3. It has been lovely watching the students build friendships and grow as learners as they became a part of our Fulham Gardens community.
Each week, our learning has been inspired by our “Book of the Week.” Each book had a different theme for us to explore. From nature to food and many in between, we have enjoyed stories, class discussions, art and activities linked to each theme.
In Math, we have been busy learning to identify, count and write the numbers 1–10. Some of our Joeys can even write their numbers all the way to 20!
There has also been plenty of learning through play, giving the students an opportunity to explore, create, problem-solve and learn alongside their new friends.
The Joeys also had some very exciting firsts! Our Joeys participated in their first Science Week, Book Week and Carnevale, making plenty of special memories along the way.
We are so proud of everything our Joeys have achieved in their first term of school, and we cannot wait to see what Term 4 brings!
