On Friday 19th of May, FGPS hosted their first SA Inter school Chess Tournament of the term. Starting off with only 3 teams in the division for the night, it was great to see that word spread to our neighbouring schools, and that number increased to see 6 teams participating. Students looked nervous walking into a new site, but quickly warmed up to familiar chess boards set up, ready to play. FGPS looks forward to hosting this division of the league every Friday fortnight from 4pm -5pm in the Resource Center.
