We’re so proud of our students who took part in this year’s Primary Mathematics Extension Group (PMEG) program! Over the past term, some of our keen mathematicians went on three trips to The Australian Science and Mathematics School (ASMS) at Flinders University.
It was a fantastic chance to meet and work with over 60 other students from primary schools all over South Australia. Together with ASMS students, our kids picked an inquiry question they were eager to explore, then worked hard to create posters that explained their thinking and answers.
At the final event, it wasn’t just teachers checking out their work. All the Year 10 and 11 students at ASMS came along to see their posters and ask questions. Our students did an amazing job talking about their investigations and showed real confidence.
A huge congratulations to everyone who took part. You represented Fulham Gardens Primary so well and should be extremely proud of your efforts and the way you supported each other. What a great way to celebrate a love of maths!
Well done to our PMEG team!
