Round 2
As many of you know Round 2 was midterm. The topic was “E scooters should be banned in the city of Adelaide”. We were the Negative Team.
Unfortunately, they were runner ups of the debate, but overall had very positive feedback and did an amazing job
Max was the First Speaker, and was commended his excellent speaking and structure of his debate
Bella was the Second Speaker, and is commended on her excellent points with thorough evidence
Honor was the Third Speaker, and is commended on supporting her team’s rebuttal
And thank you to Almira who was timekeeper of the debate.
Round 3
Last night the team participating in Round 3, and we got our first win! 
The topic was “Year 5’s should do Homework”. Again, we were the negative team, which means they were very convincing that year 5’s should not do homework. Even I was convinced… almost.
Reno was First Speaker, and was commended on his detail and research with his argument
Almira was Second Speaker and was commended for her excellent speaking and projection.
Bella was Third Speaker and was commended for her excellent team summary and speaking.
Honor was commended for stepping into being the chairperson AND timekeeper at the last minute. She also helped the team with planning their rebuttal during lunch debating club.
Overall, the team was commended for a strong cohesive argument as a group.
Our last two rounds will be in term 3
