Life’s ups and downs happen to all of us. The people that you know won’t always tell you if something’s troubling them. It’s important that you make asking, ‘are you OK?’ a part of your everyday relationships with friends, family, teammates and colleagues.

The earlier you give someone an opportunity to open up to you, the sooner they can find appropriate support or help. The greater the chance becomes to stop small problems from becoming bigger ones.

Fulham Gardens Primary School played its part by raising awareness for R U OK? Day on Thursday 14th September. Students and staff dressed in yellow clothing, yellow bandanas and yellow wristbands. Student Governing Council provided a stall to sell a variety of R U OK? items to raise money for a great cause. Some of the other students focused on making yellow arts and crafts to promote awareness for the day.
