This term the year 3/4 Raptors class have been working on their STEM ‘Pizza Project’. Looking at all aspects of setting up a pizza shop. Researching the types of pizza and toppings. The cost of ingredients and potential profits. Timely methods to prepare the dough. The cooking processes. Setting up tables and chairs for the restaurant. Service to the customer once the pizza is cooked.
Students were excited for the opportunity to present their work through a pizza shop open day. Families were invited to be seated at the pop-up restaurant to enjoy freshly made pizzas from the kitchen. The restaurant opening was a huge success and families raved about the variety of flavours and great tasting pizzas!
