Last week Fulham Gardens Primary School was fortunate enough to be visited by an instructor from the Australian Girls Choir. For over 30 years the Australian Girls Choir (AGC) has been providing Performing Arts education and performance opportunities for thousands of girls across the country. In recent years the AGC has shared the stage with artists such as Pharrell Williams, Olivia-Newton John and Hugh Jackman, and were also chosen to perform “I Still Call Australia Home” on Qantas’ ‘Spirit of Australia’ advertising campaign.
During their lunchtime, 16 girls from Reception to Year 5 attended the ‘Come & Try’ session, where they each got the chance to sing and dance for the instructor. The group had a wonderful time and represented the school well with their excellent listening and impeccable manners.
