This week was all about Reconciliation Week and using red, yellow, orange, black, blue and green materials to design different artwork. Playgroup’s window artwork was busy with everyone adding to our platypus and lizard. The finished design is now on the PAC window. Year 1/2’s and Rm 3’s dot artwork and Reconciliation posters along with the year 5/6’s damper making in preparation for a bonfire bake. Wonderful artwork of Australian animal silhouettes and footprints displayed through classrooms. Rec and Year 2’s cardboard snakes wrapped in colourful woolen yarn. And the whole school gathering around the fire pit cooking damper.
A big thankyou to the year 1/2 students in Rm 5, who hosted the school assembly on such a special day.
