Now in its 25th year, National Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) is an annual event when all Primary School children are encouraged to walk and commute safely to school. It is a Community Event seeking to promote Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment. Fulham Gardens Primary School have been involved in promoting such a great initiative. Extending this opportunity to our families within our school community to get involved. Staff and parents met at 8.00am at the end of Marlborough Street, Henley Beach and walked safely to school. Upon arrival, volunteers from Grange Baptist Church served a healthy breakfast of yoghurt and fruit to everyone that participated. Students were also treated to temporary tattoos promoting the event. The crew from Channel 7 news team broadcasting the weather from our school, encouraging everyone to get involved!
