The classroom is not the only place to learn about shapes at FGPS. This week the Rec-2 Dolphin class learned about shapes in the kitchen using pastry!

Using the cleverly constructed tracing sheet of different shapes, students selected their favourite one, and either using the cookie cutter or a small knife carefully cut out sheets of pastry.

     

Choosing from blueberries, apricot jam or chocolate buttons to deliciously decorate the final masterpieces.
And in no time at all, students had made interesting shape creations, out of pastry and lots of love.
