Students from year 2/3 Sea Turtles turned into busy bees last week in our FGPS garden.
Learning how to utilize the gardening cycle from produce to compost, students pruned and sorted the material that could be used in our compost bins and what could get fed to the chickens. Learning that compost delivers valuable nutrients back into the soil helping the next crop flourish.
It’s all an important process of teaching our students gardening, sustainability and recycling giving the students at FGPS the tools in life to thrive.
