2023 Sports Day proved to be another winner at FGPS this year. The colourful costumes of all the teams. Excited little faces brightly painted, ready to compete. Vibing music playing over the PA system. Sweet aromas from the hot cinnamon donut machine. Sounds of coffee’s brewing from Grange Baptist Church’s barista, making fresh hot lattes and mochas. And the sizzling sounds and smell of sausages on the BBQ, who could resist. Students were eager to jump in and let the games begin!
From relay races, sprints, hurdles and water games.
To hockey, egg and spoon and basketball hoops.
And the crowd favourite, tug of war. Which you just might spot some cheeky parents helping out in this one!
Well done to all the students who placed in an event on the day.
And all the sportsmanship, fun and effort from ALL the students at FGPS.
