Teamwork makes dream work when we step into the workspace of the year 2/3 Sea Turtles. Students were busy making sweet gift jars for Mother’s Day, filled with fragrant lemon and coconut sugar scrub, however there was more to this activity than meets the eye. Working in groups, measuring ingredients, following a method, taking turns, good communication, delegating tasks, through to the final packaging of writing gift tags and labelling each jar. Students helped each other in creating beautifully made gifts to give to their families, caregivers and teachers.
