In Week 10 last term, we held our annual Fulham Gardens Primary School Sports Day. It was a beautiful, sunny day filled with loads of smiles and fun!
The morning began with our Opening Ceremony, where students proudly represented their house teams and got ready for a full day of activity and excitement. Throughout the day, students worked their way through ten tabloid events, showcasing a fantastic range of skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Events included tunnel ball, skipping, discus, javelin, and more — with everyone giving their best effort and cheering each other on.
In the afternoon, the whole school came together for year-level sprints, followed by a crowd-favourite tug of war that brought plenty of laughter and team spirit. We wrapped up the day with our Closing Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of all students and announcing the overall winning house team and our new Values Cup winner. A big CONGRATULATIONS to Banksia for taking out both the Shield and Values Cup.
A huge thank you goes to our staff, families, and volunteers who helped make the day run so smoothly. It was wonderful to see such strong community support and school spirit on display.
CONGRATULATIONS to all students for their enthusiasm, effort, and outstanding sportsmanship — Sports Day was once again a fantastic celebration of fun, fitness, and teamwork!
